Location: France is located in Western Europe. France borders the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. West of France, is the Bay of Biscay, and to the North of France is the North Sea and the English Channel.
Terrain: The terrain of France is mostly flat plains, but there is some gently rolling hills in the northern and western parts of the country. The remainder of the country is mountainous. The mountains include the Pyrenees in the South, and the Alps in the east.
Route: On this trip, you will go from Paris to Strasbourg, Strasburg to Lyon, Lyon to Nice, Nice to Marseilles, and Marseilles to Bordeaux!
How you will get around: You will travel on railways and inland waterways throughout the trip. If there is a distance short enough to walk, you will walk around instead of traveling on railways or inland waterways.
